Meet the Designer...
As a lover of all flowers from a very early age, Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in the horticultural field. Designing with cut flowers for the past 12 years, and becoming a farmer/florist was like second nature. With a degree in architecture, she has a keen eye for color, structure and composition. Rustic country style is a favorite, but she can incorporate any and all forms of design from modern to traditional and anything in between. Having an avid appreciation for antiques and heirlooms has given her an eye for detail and finding beauty in everyday objects, like using vintage etched glassware or old tea tins to create stunning arrangements and displays. Living a flower filled life is a dream come true.
Meet the Designer...
Lorraine has been an avid gardener her entire life, starting with a back yard vegetable garden as a child. Today she works professionally as a gardener/landscaper and has channeled that passion into Flower Chix.
Lorraine is always excited to try new varieties of flowering plants to see how they perform.
Having met Stephanie in 2007, they share a mutual love for plants and cut flowers and have turned that into a labor of love.
There is nothing more magical than watching a seed sprout and grow into a beautiful flower. A flower that will eventually become part of lovely bouquet for a friend, a loved one or a bride, and seeing the happiness that brings to its recipient.
Flower Chix can help you achieve a perfect look for any occasion. We take your vision and turn it into reality. We believe that our exceptional design work can add elegance and ambience to your party or event. We pride ourselves on the highest quality of workmanship and guarantee you'll be satisfied when you see the end result.
Flower Chix are part of the new farmer/florist farm to table movement. We not only do the design work, but we also grow much of what we use in our bouquets and arrangements.
In season we grow many varieties of annuals, perennials, bulbs, and shrubs. We also offer our flowers for sale at local farmers markets.
